Organization Development

Judith consults with boards, management and staff to plan strategies to facilitate change. Her projects have included:
  • Vision, mission, strategic planning, and problem solving sessions
  • Change management
  • Leadership and board development
  • Organizational reviews, needs assessments, program evaluations
  • Design and facilitation of customer service processes
  • Diversity initiatives including community consultations and policy and strategy development
  • Workshop design and facilitation on change, leadership development, adult education, diversity, and interpersonal skills.

Examples:

  • A board of directors was not operating effectively. Judith worked with them to clarify their mandate, roles, and decision making processes.

  • An organization undergoing a large expansion recognized that it needed to develop their management team. Judith worked with them to identify the new leadership and management competencies required, develop a performance management system, and provided coaching and training for the team.

  • A large community organization was no longer meeting the needs of its increasingly diverse stakeholders. Judith assessed the situation, developed recommendations for change and worked with the organization to implement the recommendations.
As a result of Judith's consulting, organizational needs are identified and structures and processes are put in place to facilitate change.
